Some time ago I wrote about the sudden and explosive tassel-trend. Still not a mainstream item in interior magazines and the like, but widely popular behind closed doors. And now the Swedish Hollywood-wife Maria Montazami has started a business: Decor The Future. With its first and brand new collection the company wants to challenge the traditional tassel by means of bold decoration (some tassels are adorned with rhinestones and skulls)) and new uses (read e v e r y w h e r e or anywhere in the home).
Decor The Future with Maria Montazami in the lead want to make the tassel the must-have detail in future home decor. Now, let’s see where, if anywhere, this leads. Personally I haven’t seen the TV-show and got to know the Hollywood-wife, but I like tassels!
