Spring Candy!

Posted on 2012/03/11 by Mia in Bedlinen, Bedroom, Colour Boosts, Flowers, Hallway, SS 2012

Hola! Long time no see…Intensive work is what I’ve been up to, followed by a likewise intense & sunny vacation in the Canaries. Now here’s some springy candy for your eyes! Firstly. a lovely bedside from the beautiful blog krickelin (a new favourite):

Next, a very very nicely set table! Pure spring gorgeousness. From sweet paul magazine, via fab blog bright bazaar:

Colours, colours, colours! The top trend this spring. How I’d love to have a hallway like this, with doors painted in various gorgeous shades…(from marie claire maison, april issue):

Or, another great-impact trick, to paint both the walls and the floors in versions of one nice colour (via residence magazine):

Funky style. I love the turquoise + blonde wood combo, and the darker green elements. Lastly, another spring fresh bedside (from marie claire maison) Lovely bedlinen & colour scheme:

With sunny March greetings!

I really love that first shot. I’m curious about the wall color. Up top it appears pinkish but below it becomes whiter. Must be something to do with the lighting. :)

Ooooh, love all the colors. Always a joy to see a bunny tucked in flowers.

I want to give my view gypsum as I am vastly experienced in the subject.
Gypsum is a naturally occurring mineral and when it is processed you obtain a white powder that could be used for decorative work when mixed with other ingredients. If you have seen intricate designs on ceilings of hotel rooms probably they are made out of gypsum. In order to provide strength, you need to use glass fiber with it.
In order to create those designs the mixture of gypsum and glass fiber are mixed and made to a paste with the use of water. Afterwards, the mixture is used for making gypsum works Malta hotels need. With this paste, you could create anything from murals to decorations found on the ceiling. A good craftsman could add aesthetics to the room with it in no time. He could figure out where to add his decorations and what type of decorations to use.

Thank you all masses, for your notes! I dearly appreciate it!

Exactly, it probably has to do with the light conditions. Great to hear from you!
