I went to have a quick glance at AT’s Small/Cool 2011 contest and I stayed for like…an hour! Lots of nice homes to watch! I didn’t go though them all (thank god) but I really need to feature this one…

Kim & Scott spent close to four years turning their contractors seemingly “perfect” beige-box into a place they love to call home – spaces that reflects their, sometimes clashing, personalities. It totally captures a light, fresh and joyful spring mood I think – and the bold-coloured details makes it all interesting. Also, this is another of the very many proofs of the superiority of coloured walls, compared to white :)

Kim & Scott’s Yellow Brick Home. Lovely. Let it win.

I wonder which came first, the artwork or the pillows in that bedroom. Because they coordinate perfectly!

  • Mia

Exactly, it’s almost a too-good-to-be-true match! The bedlinen is also so perfectly chosen in relation to the artwork. For me I feel it would take years of searching to find stuff that goes together that well – and at the same time it looks in a way effortless!
