Swedish home textiles brand Himla has now realeased their autumn 2010 collection. It bears the name Nordic Mysteriousness and is inspired by the beautiful shades naturally found in the Swedish fauna. Photographed in the famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, this collection’s backdrop is stunningly beautiful, and frosty to say the least!

While the 2010 spring collection hit spring fever totally right in the pure sandy beaches and light blue skyes, the autumn collection hits another longing: the hearty winter. Luckily we are not left in the cold: the collection is full of warming colours. Himla’s spring news gave me a favourite, the uncomplicated, rough-dry and bohème New Linen Look – autumn collection gives a premonition of the cold degrees to come (brr…) and at the same time provides us with a bit of warmth and coziness. We’ll need that.

Wow, would be interesting to visit the area where these photos was shot! We almost never see any snow or ice here in Texas, if it snows (very rare) it's usually gone by the next day.

Doris! Great to hear from you! Lapland is very cool (in multiple senses :p) – you should visit one day!

To me, used to white winters, deep snow and ice on the nose tip, Texas is a whole lot more exciting though!
