The New York Magazine‘s Home Design “Was/Is”-stories are fun to follow. There’s no small or superficial improvements they show – there is conversion and renovation that goes beyond at least my everyday imagination..Inspiring? Indeed. The story on how a dilapidated room in a Prospect Heights brownstone became a master bathroom with a working fireplace can be read here. If I fancy the idea of having a fireplace next to my bathtub? Well, yes!! And look at this below – two prewar apartments on Fifth Avenue became one 6,000-square-foot fantasyland. This is dining room – before and after.
