iPad: A Multi-Purpose Home Decor Item
28 Jan
Apple’s brand new iPad – does it like…does it like come with a wall mount? :)

All other fine features set aside, it has a high-resolution, 9.7 inch LED-backlit, IPS display. A digital photo frame is of course the most basic home decor use of the iPad, but given that it has the whole world in its shell – it can display anything. Anywhere in a house. Just imagine the possibilities… Change poster with the touch of your finger. Or display a bookself with the iBooks app. Or, hang the iPad in the kitchen and use it for jotting down your grocery list, or week menu, with Notes. Or to-do’s (although that is a more boring example of use).
And wait, there’s more! Are you – like me – one of those TV-opponents? You do not like the eternal flicker, the hollow-eyed viewing and especially: detest the appearance of the huge TV and its wires, even if it is a slim lcd? You ponder whether you should hide it in a cupboard or embed it in a nice looking frame-arrangement? Well, you keep the iPad in a box or any drawer – it’s just slightly smaller than a magazine - and if someone (your hubby maybe) promply must watch TV just pick it up and voilà !.. let him hold it in his lap.
OK, these were the most obvious home decor uses of the iPad. I would let it into my house. As long as there is plenty of wall mounts to it.
