After so many years of white, beige and discretely coloured walls and decor dominating the scene, it’s so nice to see big bold block colours becoming more popular. On-trend and fearless combinations of purple, red, yellow, teal/aqua and hot pink really liven things up don’t you think!

Color is sooo appealing, love these pictures!! I'am torn between wanting to paint and not daring….Feels maybe difficult to get it right with powerful hues?

I know what you mean Marta, I'm exactly the same! I love the look of bold colours, but so far I've chickened out and haven't used them anywhere myself. I think it can be a bit trickier to get it right with strong colours (with white you kinda know what you get!) but I suspect that it's definitely worth having a go. I would pick a few nuances carefully, get colour samples of them and then paint sections on the relevant walls and live with them for a little while before taking the plunge and painting the whole room. Next time I decorate a room I think I'm going to be brave and try a dark blueish gray
