Sometimes, or quite often really, I dream of a house. A nice big house with at least 6 rooms. Perferably near a lake or the sea and with lots of trees and garden life around it. I love old Swedish houses! And I think this kind of decor style fits them gorgeously well…Some walls painted [...]

Don’t you think it’s time for some Spring 2013 trend spotting? I do! And here’s a first little round, guided by some fabulous SS 2013 catwalk ladies. Firstly, a sophisticated and cool copper/nature style. According to Formex – one of my usual places to turn to when sniffing for trends – the Spring 2013 interior [...]

Sthlm Style

To me, this is somewhat typical (trendy) Stockholm style. The white backdrop, with some wood elements, and stylewise some distinct retro & industrial influences. And the globetrotter is there, in a poster and a throw that says New York, and an ethnic-patterned cushion. A creative vibe. Liking it! | pic via reimersholme fastighetsmäkleri |

Tonight I’m having lots of Hallelujah moments!  I’m finding treasures, one after one. I can’t believe I’ve missed this wallpaper named Mixed Folk by Louise Body. It’s pure gorgeousness. I’m a huge fan of Moroccan tiles and the folksy vibe of these just thousandfold my love. A wallpaper with such a  nostalgic, charmig, warming and [...]

Dearest readers. I hope you enjoyed Henen’s House Tour! Judging from your response through comments & emails it was a real treat. Thanks Henen! And she’s got many more rooms in her house, so there’s more where that came from! Also, although I only got three rooms and a kitchen, I’ve done some new things [...]

abinets and chests are the ultimate home decor items. The paramount pieces of furniture. Don’t you think? It’s highly useful and can add so much interest, style and character….I’ve tried to collect the chest, cabinets, etc we’ve featured during the years (hey, Trendey is turning 2 years old in August!) into an own category. When [...]

This is my fav pic from Living Etc‘s August 2011 issue. From Sibella Court’s Sydney home. Described as a look that’s about personality, texture and the here and now. When asked to sum her style she says:  flotsam and jetsam, globetrotting, bowerbird. Oh my…I had to google them all! Well not globetrotting – one of [...]
