Dark Painted Walls

An amazing grey wall colour

Posted on 2010/11/29 by Mia in AW 2010, Dark Painted Walls

In the dark painted wall-section lies an intriguing question: Black, blue or grey? There are some obviously great colour choices. nearly black walls americana

The December/January issue of Elle Decor just came out and I found this to be the most interesting pic. Nearly black with Americana vibe. Yes I knoooow, the US edition might have American style influences but hey I’m Swedish. I love this hot trend-traditional combo. The sofa table nails it.

Mid-Century Meets Moulin Rouge

Posted on 2010/11/12 by Mia in boho, Dark Painted Walls, fifties retro

We’ve seen mid-century meet bohemian modern, now here’s another interesting interior style fusion: Mid-century meets Moulin Rouge. Aside from the dualtrendy black walls + wood, which in […]

Posted on 2010/10/30 by Mia in Burning hot!, Dark Painted Walls, Mild Wall Colours, Odd Chair Mix

At the very top of my list are of course the elusive granny wallpapers. But one must be realistic, it’s both easier and more fun to paint. […]

The Black Wall Syndrome

Forget everything that has been said about black – about its mood-derogatory and size-shrinking effects – it’s the new white!
