Some displays & frame groupings

This is a home decor chapter I find really interesting: frame groupings and displays. A person’s home actually tells a story about that person. If not about nerdy interests and exotic adventures (or the love for white and cleanliness ;)), it does say a lot about what is dear to that human. In my opinion nothing is more thrilling and enjoyable than rooms and homes that speaks! Speaks stories, speaks loud, and speaks well, different style languages. A home full of character or at least: some. And displays of various kinds serve that purpose very well.

Ten globes are really cooler than one, don’t you think?

Here’s one of the best DIY-ideas I’ve spotted in ages: using pant hangers!

That’s such a great way to display a doll collection.
And lastly, book shelves, literally speaking. Love it!

Browse and enjoy!

Trendey is now wearing a new costume and well, hope you like it! Some fixes remains though and if you see something odd (other than the usual trendey-odd) please tell. Trendey still sorts stuff in what is supposed to be useful categories – so browse around!

Today – or rather two weeks ago,… I just updated this outdated old post about trendey’s now former navigation system – I’m loving (still loving!) this framed collection of orphaned gloves, and the mushroom & lamp-display.

oh, and two more pics from the same lovely, lovely house:

Lovely

Now I’m off to London! But why..? To see my dear sister Henen of course! :) A stroll through all the lovely interior design boutiques of Islington is on the agenda as well as a trip to funky Brighton. See you soon.

Scandinavian Boho-Chic

The style is some kind of bohemian chic, says Swedish fashion blogger and designer Elin Kling about her home decor. The walls (and some of the floors) are painted…….white……but this is not a typical ‘surgery room with kitchen’ – it looks lived in! A human home. The charming boho vibe is key in this stylishly decorated home.

The place is decorated with interesting mid-century furniture and findings from all over the globe.

I really like collectables of every kind. Here’s a nice collection of fashion books – love the atmosphere stacks of books bring! – and below is another collection, eviable, and glamorous: shoes! As high and uncomfortable as possible is the motto :)
