Country Charm Christmas

Oooh, I think this room is damn nice! It both has a Christmassy side and a floral/summery – in harmony. Though thrilling for me, I guess this combination of seasons is quite common in the Australian part of the world… And I do love the country vibe. Only miss a pair of thin flowing curtains! Easter Sunday Greetings!

With some photos from our little casa. I demolished our poster wall, just a few months after the collection was finished (you know it’s not the goal that’s worthwhile- it’s the trip!), and two of the posters got a new place next to the TV – together with some good -  and good-looking -  decor books. I really find those shelves useful, IKEA’s ‘LACK’; because of their concealed fittings). Now that’s the most Scandi-white part of our home. Below, the Easter tulips are in full bloom. Chairs are on their way to form a nice odd chair mix – together with that lovely House Doctor chair. So far, I’ve decided on two vintage Eames (one elephant grey, one ochre coloured) and maybe one green iron chair…

sweet bird of passage, come home to stay

Once again, Stockholm estate agent Fantastic Frank has done something really interesting to a flat for sale. I guess this place could have been just one of the crowd. Unnoticed and sad… But nope, njet no! These birds are moving out of their nest, probably to warmer climes, and any other species are welcome to take over.

Frankatastic creativity! And nix, dunno what that thing on the lovely parquet flooring is ;) Styling and ideas by Maria Wahlström, photography by Anders Lindén. More cool images [and maybe if you want to buy the flat, it's] -> here.

yes, I’d take this attic

…no probs, I can sleep here.

In a loft apartment currently brokered by real estate agent Skeppsholmen. It has some pretty nice features this one; a total area of 243 m2, duplex, and a spacey roof terrace just to mention the basics. Stepped chimney, heating stove, blah blah..;) Love the atmosphere in this bedroom. The whitewashed walls, the harmony and the softness, especially when it comes to the bed which might be the most inspirational part. Wouldn’t this be the perfect spot for a hideaway retreat!
