Hello! Hope y’all are very fine. I’ve just recovered from a week’s flu and feel really renascent despite I’m still sneezing around quite a lot! Here’s a vibe that feels totally right & right now I think.
Firstly, it’s something very laidback yet lively with brick walls. And dresses (or other garments) as decor is such a splendid trick. Lots of storytelling in this pic I think! From the coveteur via sf girl by bay:
Isn’t it amazing how wallpaper design has evolved? I’m loving that the creativity seems endless. This wallpaper below named “abstract” from Mr Perswall’s new collection Expressions, is very exciting I think! It crossed a line.
And hey, there arn’t any hotter decor items than these textile toadstools by Mister Finch! Check out this textile art via Mr Finch’s blog / etsy shop. I noted his amazing bugs and little creatures two years ago in speaking of the – then – quite fresh botanical trend, and said I knew would get back to it! (a few days ago I couldn’t help myself from buying a wonderful textile moth :)) This is as cool as it gets.
And lastly, to sum up, I just need to include this photo as it is one of the most interesting fashion shoots I’ve seen in a long time. Deadly cool, from (of course) the satorialist. Such a great play with proportions, totally translatable to home decor!
Have a groovy ending of August!
